ok well I would take the MAIN video track and put it on track 3, and the other tracks (the ones you only use about 10% of on tracks 1 and 2. What would be more useful for me is a feature that lets me sync audio at any time in my cutting process but hey beggars can't be choosers Syncing it first though allows me to not have to take all the little resulting clip pieces and line them up with the clip 1 audio. I am doing projects that have one angle 80% of the time, and only have bits of other angles popping in now and then, so im cutting away most of cam 2 or 3 and only using maybe 10% of each. What i didn't like was the way all the videos tried to do the editing itself IN the multicam timeline, i assume as they are making it look like a video production that jumps around angles. A few steps to get your head around the first time you do this It uses the multi cam option to do the syncing. I'll have to look at it again and see what i did wrong. I like this method as it lets me do my normal import first but when i tried to sync them, the audio wasn't lined up. Thanks for any help you can offer, cheers. So far i've just been importing them all in and sliding one clip however far needed till the sound matches what my eyes see, is there an easier way? In theory i'd like to have the auto align audio work, then i would simply delete the ILC audio files and leave everything else lined up. Is there a button for this i haven't found yet? I use the audio from my LG V60 as it's light years ahead of my Olympus or Canon output, but i still have to line up the ILC video with the phone audio as i jump back and forth between snips. My editing includes adding a title, taking clips from different devices and splicing them back and forth in the timeline for differing angles.Īll pretty basic and easy but the biggest pain is getting audio lined up. Im using the free version, not doing too much in videos. Hello guys, im wondering if anybody knows Resolve well enough to help here.
